Hello and welcome to LoKi's Barkery!

It all started when I fulfilled my lifelong dream of having a dog and adopted Loki - a rambunctious indie boy who very quickly made me realise I had much to learn about actually caring for a dog!

Together we learned, unlearned, spent a lockdown together, and I slowly figured out how to give him the best life - including feeding a nutritious, species-appropriate diet. Thus began the days of chopping meat, prepping veggies, making fish paste and preparing elaborate meals from scratch. Of course Loki was very happy with this development, and I was happy watching him lick his bowls clean.

But sometimes it was fun to take a break from the usual bowl and come up with creative ways to treat him - frozen yogurt popsicles, omelettes cut into noodles, meaty pupcakes - little things to make feeding him more fun for the both of us, while not compromising with what he was eating.

And that is how LoKi's Barkery came to be. At the heart of it, we're all about healthy, human grade ingredients in flavour combinations that keep the tails wagging. Add to that a little sprinkle of whimsy to make treat time just as much fun for us humans too.

Our journey has brought us home to Chennai where our family grew by two more spoiled rotten pups, Kitty and Milo, and a beloved squad of community dogs. Together, this little army of very discerning paws serves as quality checkers and taste testers for every single new treat coming out of our kitchen.
